It's been awhile, but SPDST is still alive folks. We have been busy with various projects and completing college at the same time. SPDST has worked on a few feature length films "Bay City" http://youtube.com/watch?v=qGP7D7fMot8 Here's the link to the trailer. Damien Gilbert was Co-Director of Photography on this film and made an appearance along with Mike Thompson who also was part of the production aswell.

Thunder Bay Vice was the 1st feature film for Damien Gilbert to work on. He was Director of Photography and 3rd Lead actor.The film contains stunts featured by Alex Spenard, Mike Thompson, and Benny. During the shoot of Thunder Bay Vice, Proper Television had asked Damien If he wanted to be apart of a new television series "TV MADE ME DO IT" The topic was on the whole Jackass Phenomenon. That crew was wicked. They interviewed us and we did some stunts for them. Also they will feature clips from our dvds "Dissaray from the Bay" and "Unstoppable" That will air TROPOLIS in January 2008. SPDST finally makes their transistion from underground film and video to television this week on TVtropolis.

"We really went hard for it." says Dan G, a stuntman for SPDST who was flown in from Calgary, AB for the taping.
"Anytime you stumble out of a casino at 4am to get onto a plane and step off to have boom mics in your face, directly on your way to film yourself partying and busting yourself up in front of your friends, you know it was a great time. I just hope that they can air all of the footage we taped."

The film crew from Proper Televison came to Thunder Bay to do a feature on SPDST. There will be new material never before seen aswell as interviews with the crew and footage from the 2 previous videos. The film crew managed to stay even a couple days longer due to the high volume of quality footage they were getting during their visit.

"This has been a few years in the making," says Damien Gilbert, the man behind SPDST. "It's nice to see our material is going to be televised nationwaide for everyone else to see. I finally feel that our group is starting to reach their full potential, but this is just the beginning. What we have planned for our next movie will blow everyone away."
